obsession

I went out and got Organic Gardening for Dummies.  I plan on reading it for the next few days.  I hope to have a better idea of what I want to do after I finish.  I talked with my husband last night about the whole idea and he seemed pretty happy about the whole idea.  I think he perked up when I said I would grow him the ingredients for salsa.  I have this little storage closet right on the patio and I hope it's a place I can keep my supplies and my compost bin.  If not I might have to look into getting it from the city.  Not ideal but better than nothing right?  I have to go look at either buying trough bins I can use to plant or find someone to build me what I see pictured in my head.. My first trip to the garden store this weekend.  I am so excited I might just squeal like I do on my birthday.  "Before" patio pictures to come very soon.

I spent most of the morning deciding to plant a garden. That is how I do things. I plan and plan, study and obsess until I talk myself out of the endeavor. Not this time. I plan on changing my small apartment patio into an organic garden. I figured if I blogged about it maybe I could finish something I started. I'll take pictures as I go and maybe even get to eat something I planted. That first salad I grew myself will make it all worth it,  at least I hope so.
